Eddystone + iBeacon UUID advertising issue

Hello everybody,

1. My project is based ble_app_eddystone example and nRF5_SDK_17.2.0 SOC is nRF52832.
2. Beacon advertise Eddystone UID +Eddystone TLM +Eddystone URL,  works ok.
3. I understood that The Eddystone Project uses a timer to modify/update ad data (adv_timing_callback() ).

i need Eddystone TLM +UID +URL + iBeacon uuid, what i need to modify in the code?
how i can modify the eddystone module so that it can switch between Eddystone data and iBeacon data?

Hi,

I do not have any ready made project that combine this, but there are some old threads about it, for instance this one. The Eddystone example is quite complex though, so this may be a bit of work.

By the way, may I ask for what you are using Eddystone, seen as Google has discontinued it?

that means we won't be able to use it, or else it will be of no use to us.?

That depends on what you want to use it for. I suggest you refer to the official statement google made: Discontinuing support for Android Nearby Notifications to see to what degree it is relevant for you.
