Please recommend a MOSFET replacement in the audio circuit (Thingy52).

- The product I am making uses nRF52833. In addition, the audio part of Thingy 52 was added to the product as above. (The speaker uses 1.5W, 8ohm. Current consumption is about 200mA.)
- However, in the circuit above, the DMC2400UV is not in good supply, so we are going to replace it with another part. So, I tested Toshiba's SSM6L14FE (TE85L,F), but there was a problem with the speaker volume being lower than the DMC2400UV.
- It is presumed that the switching speed of SSM6L14FE(TE85L,F) is slower than that of DMC2400UV.
- Are there any other parts that you would recommend? Or, do you have any advice on this?

Thanks.

  • Hi,

I dont have any alternative components so you might have too do som digging to find a MOSFET that matches the specs of the DMC2400UV.

t is presumed that the switching speed of SSM6L14FE(TE85L,F) is slower than that of DMC2400UV.

This could be a factor that effects the result but difficult to say exactly.

    What diodes are you using?

but there was a problem with the speaker volume being lower

    Big difference in volume?
