Brownout reset not present in nRF5340 RESET->RESETREAS register

Hi there,

We are not able to find the reset due to brownout within the RESET->RESETREAS register? Is this the case? There are explanations of the brownout detection in the product spec, so surely this should be somewhere. We are not able to find it though, if you could please point us in the right direction?

Where can we find the reset reason due to brownout? Apologies in advance if we are simply overlooking this information somewhere.

Hi,

 

A brownout reset and a power-on reset both will clear the RESETREAS register:

This means that you can detect if the device has experienced POR/BOR by seeing if this register is cleared (ie. has its reset value)

Thanks for your response Hakon, I definitely think that the manual can be written more clearly though.
