Hello!

That sounds like a plan! I assume you are planning on using the nRF5 and Mesh SDK then? Do you want the serial example node to receive data from the BLE sensor using over serial?

Sure! I would recommend you to first try to get the example up and running. Read about it and how to test it in the documentation here. Then try to find at what points you are getting stuck, and let me know what issue you are having.

I should mention that for new designs we actually recommend using NCS and not nRF5SDK, as NCS is what we will support and actively work on improving going forward (see here for more info). You should be able to do what you are trying to using NCS as well, although I don't think there is a "serial example" per se. You would have to consider if this is a minor project where you simply want something that works now, or if you want to start on a product that can grow and mature along with NCS, and what we offer in terms of features etc.
