Inductors for DC/DC

Hi

When DC/DC is used with REG0 or REG1, an external inductor is required.

The recommendation is "10 µH Chip inductor, IDC min = 80 mA, ±20%".

However, the lack of information on inductors makes their selection difficult.

We would therefore like to use the supplied inductor (10 µH,  VLCF5028T-100M1R0-2),  but is there any problem with its characteristics?inductor_commercial_power_vlcf5028-2_en.pdf

You can use this, but it's very large! The saturation current is more than 1 A, it only needs be more than 80 mA.

I, too, am aware that it is big.

However, as it is used in our other products, we wanted to divert it as it is in stock and readily available.
