Full modem firmware update for modem v1.2.7

Hi,

Our firmware currently only support full modem update, and I would like to perform a full modem firmware update from 1.2.0 to 1.2.7. According to the reply from https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/81643/full-modem-firmware-update-for-modem-v1-3-0/357370#357370 this is possible. Sadly, I didn't find the mfw_nrf9160_1.2.7.zip available for download at https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/nRF9160/Download?lang=en#infotabs doesn't contains the serialized modem firmware in `.cbor` format.

Where can I find the procedure to generate it from the content of the mfw_nrf9160_1.2.7.zip?

Hi,

There might have been some confusion here, the FOTA updates will need to be delta updates if the version is from 1.2.X to 1.2.Y.

The mfw 1.2.7 zip does also not provide a cbor file.

Should I understand that there is no possibility to generate the CBOR file myself?

And that full modem update is not supported for patch version (e.g.: 1.2.x -> 1.2.y) updates?
