NCS release schedule; when will NCS catch up to zephyr 3.0.0?

I see mainline Zephyr is now on v3.0.0 since end of Feb.

I assume the bump from 2.7.x to 3.x means substantial changes.
When will NCS move to a 3.x zephyr?

I ask this because want to minimise the seems to be constant library/repo catch up cycle I seem to be in.
