AWS Certificates update from certificates.h file

Hi everyone,

is there a way to update the AWS certificates from certificates.h with the SDK 1.9.99? Following the AWS FOTA instructions it seems that i can update the certificates only through LTE Link Monitor. Looking at this link for SDK 1.5.2 there is something about a PROVISION_CERTIFICATES variable.

Hello Salvo, 

Yes, you are right. This has been removed from the sample from v1.6.0 (ref. release notes under nRF9160: AWS FOTA).

Thank for your reply Øyvind. I red the release notes as your suggestion. I have another question, is it not possible to upload the certificates even using AT commands inside the application with this SDK?

No, we do not recommend this. Certificates should be provisioned to modem in advance.
