About Notify Data Size

Hi All,

I have a question about notify data size.

I have a 10byte array, but the length after Notify is sent will be max len = 50byte which I set in characteristic.

What should I do if I only want to receive 10bytes on the mobile phone but the max len remains at 50bytes?

Which development platform you are using? nRF5 SDK or NCS?

Hello Kai,

It is the application platform. Is it NCS /Welcome to the nRF Connect SDK! — nRF Connect SDK 1.9.99 documentation (nordicsemi.com)) or nRF5 SDK (nRF5 SDK - nordicsemi.com)? 

For nRF5 SDK ( I assume as you said Segger), you can send 10 byte long notification even you have maximum length 50 byte. You do not need to change the maximum length.
