NAND memory interface using QSPI

Can QSPI be initialized to work with NAND flash memory?
as I tried to use it with SPI and it worked fine but with QSPI it only returns 0xFF values even if I initialize the QSPI writeoc to NRF_QSPI_WRITEOC_PP, QSPI readoc to NRF_QSPI_READOC_FASTREAD and I am using the same frequency as SPI (8 MHz)

The model of NAND that I am using is MT29F8G01ADAFD12-IT and I am working on nRF-52840

No, the QSPI have not been designed to work with NAND flash memory. Most NAND devices have a different instruction set to NOR devices, which is why the QSPI is not compatible.

please can you clarify more
did you mean read4io and write4io as examples for the instructions that you are talking about ?

i noticed the difference between 2 timeline for the commands from nRF datasheet and my NAND datasheet but when i wrote data using spi and read it  using QSPI i read the data successfully

As mentioned in this case one of the issues is that the QSPI interface automatically asks the connected device for the status using the 0x05 command, and without support for this command the device will not work properly.
