How to configure Bluetooth 5.0 long range enable and test in nrf52840 dk.

Hi,

I;m working on nrf52840 dk i have to enable ble5.0 long range.

i set the tx power 8.

according to my project my device will be always in advertising mode and my device will be connected via ble with gateway.

once device will be provisioned to gateway it will be online.

i wants long range i read the example but it is not useful for my case.

i'm not able to configure according to my project.

Hi Ashwani, 

Could you please let us know which example you used ? 

Which device are you planning to use as the gateway ? Please make sure the gateway also support Long Range Coded PHY. 

Please note that setting TX Power to a high value can increase the range of transmitting but it's unrelated to the Bluetooth Long Range Coded PHY modulation.

I'm new on this board 

My requirement is long ble advertising mode which should be always in online mode for gateway.

Once i provision the device that should be connected via bluetooth to gateway

Please suggest me which example will be suitable.

Hi Ashwani, 

I would suggest to get familiar with the SDK first before you moving forward. 

You can get started with nRF Connect SDK or nRF5 SDK. 

First try to get familiar with a normal BLE example (heart rate example , or blinky example) 
After that you can try to test with coded PHY example. In nRF Connect SDK we have the \nrf\samples\bluetooth\peripheral_hr_coded that you can test with.
