How to powering an external sensor for the development on the nrf52dk?

Hello all,

the sensor is selected and so far powered via an external power supply, while the nrf52dk is powered via the USB, however, I am not sure how to properly organize the power supply...

The sensor may at some point as well draw 200mA or more, I am wondering how does that relate to the power balance on the nrf52dk, especially if I am using two different power sources for essentially one setup, this in general may not be ok ? 

I did not spot the availability of the power supply from the nrf52dk to external devices to make the power supply from one source, however, how would someone want to design this properly?

Hello Kenneth and thank you for your comment with regard to the  logic analyzer,

can you say more about it? Especially, how to work this out with the software, for example, I can use the JScope with the EMS...

Most logic analyzers should be able to decode the twi data, such that you can both observe the timing and the actual data. It should be possible to look at where the data start to differ.
