Setting the TX power level in the nrf Connect for Desktop "Bluetooth Low Energy App v3.0.1 doesn't change the actual power

Am I assuming correctly that setting the TX power level in the "Bluetooth Low Energy" app in the nrf Connect for Desktop app under windows 10 just changes the contents of the advertising packet, not the actual power of advertising on my PCA10100 DK board?

Hello Isaac,

When we set the TX power level inside the BLE app as advertising setup, it changes the content of the advertising packet. This value is sent to DK through UART to advertise. It does not change the advertising transmit power of DK.
