Can use nRF5x soc chip without BLE module

Hi,

I am using nrf51822 chip for ble application. shall i use this same chip for another application without ble module?

kindly suggest, what are the changes we need to do in software and hardware.

software:-

plan to remove soft device and use chip as Raw configuration.

hardware:-

plan to remove some components from below image marked area.

please guide me for  development

note:- 

Planning for IECEX certification. So, how the RF module will be impact to this certification if use this Chip for non-ble application.

You can use the device without the radio, not problem. Keep C9 but the 16 MHz crystal and the load caps C1 and C2 can be removed as well if you can operate with the internal RC oscillator instead. 

If the radio isn't used, there's no testing related to this.

Thank you very much for your reply. are they same things applicable for nrf52 series also? because, we have a plan to change the chip to nrf52 series.
