BLE advertising events

Hi,

Since BLE advertising consumes current, I want to stop sampling ADC data during BLE is advertising. Are there any BLE events to know when advertising happens or are there any ways, how to ignore the samples during ble transmission.

Hi,

You can trigger the SAADC sampling from the Radio Notification end signal if you don't want the sampling to overlap with RADIO activity during advertisements.

I am using external ADC and BLE  advertising interval is 500 ms and i want to stop sampling during this period how to use radio notification in my application.

Hi,

As per the below diagram, i will get notification before and after radio activity in handler so, i won't be notified during the radio activity. in that case how can the samples be ignored during this radio activity .

Correct me if i am wrong.

Exactly how to ignore those samples is dependent on how you are currently using the SAADC driver in your code. How frequent will you need to  need to sample the voltage in your app?

O.3ms is the sampling period and advertisement happens every 500ms
