Custom Bootloader

I have developed a device using the nRF52832 and I am wondering if there is built in functionality to reset the chip back into bootloader mode without programming the device? At the moment we have uploaded faulty FW on the device so we cannot connect to it via the ble to send it into bootloader mode.

Alternatively, could you make a custom bootloader to prevent bricking the device?

What resources are availiable?

If your device have the User Button . you can assign that button to perform Button DFU . While reset the power of the device if the button is pressed it will entered into the bootloader mode.
