Usb for programming/debug nRF52811

Hello,

Im a student trying to use the nRF52811 SoC for a project, i need to design a pcb with the chip and a few more things.

I am planning to use the available reference design for the nRF52811. 

My problem is that I need to use a micro USB B to power/program and debug de chip, but I have no idea how to connect the usb d+ and d- to the chip. I supose i can't just connect them directly to SWDIO and SWDCLK. Is there any available product that makes this type of " conversion"? Or is there another way?

Hi,

You need a SEGGER jlink or an nRF52-DK to program an external board with an nRF device, for instance if you have an nRF52-DK you can program the external board as described here:

Note however that the DK support only ~3V fixed voltage, if you want to use a different supply voltage board for the external board then you need to look into a SEGGER jlink standalone programmer/debugger.

Hi,

How should i connect (physically)  the SEGGER jlink to my custom board? Can I put four pins in my board wired to SWDIO,SWDCLK,VCC and GND , and then connect them to jlink SWDIO/SWDCLK/VTref/GND pins?
