Power supply for external sensor/actuator with nRF52820 custom board

I am trying to Wearable (smart watch)

My board will have 3.7V lithium button cell directly connects to VDDH and I couldn't find examples for internal regulator as power supply for external ICs.

Should I add external LDO or DC/DC buck converter for my custom board to supply other sensors/actuators ?

Hi,

The GPIO levels in nRF52820 will follow the voltage on VDD pin. In high voltage mode, the voltage level on VDD will be the output of REG0 regulator, which can be configured in UICR->REGOUT0 register. The chip can only support one voltage level, others need to be generated using external regulators, or a power management IC.

If you are powering sensors through GPIOs, please make sure you do not exceed the currents given in the GPIO Electrical Specification.
