you can find ADC usage in ble_app_proximity example. It is using SAADC driver (nrf_drv_saadc).

is there an example for timer-based ADC sampling, using the PPI, as is demonstrated in <InstallFolder>\examples\peripheral\saadc, for softdevice-enabled projects?
