Self-test capabilities

I'm using a nRF52832 for a product under FAA regulations. The standard requires the BLE module to perform a self-test.  What self-test capabilities does the Nordic nRF52 family have? thanks

Hi Dat.

Unfortunately, there are no built-in or pre-programmed self-tests available. This will have to be implemented by the customer.

All devices are tested in production to make sure flash and peripherals work.

Is there anything I can do to test the radio without relying on an external setup? I suspect there isn't but figured I'll ask. 

The standards I'm working with require self test before flight. I'm looking for something the module provides that may allow me to detect failures in regards to the radio.

Hi,

No, unfortunately there is no such feature. Testing the radio would require you to have something externally that can verify that the radio works.
