TF Lite Micro

I know from zephyr samples that Tensorflow lite is available via zephyr as an external module, though it's not explicitly allowed in the nrf west.yml, and therefore is not included when nrf is the manifest repository. While I can always create my own manifest repo to bring in TFLite, does anyone know why it's not included in the nrf west.yml by default?

First, if you are interested in machine learning on our microcontrollers, I can recommend to have a look at our samples for Edge Impulse.

But to answer your question:
The reason tflite is not included by default is likely that the library take up a lot of space.

I think the solution to this is to use the Application as the manifest repository.

Will this solution work four your purpose?

Yes, I was assuming my app as a manifest repo to be the fix, but thanks for explaining the reasoning.

I’m not familiar with edge impulse but will have a look. Thanks for the quick reply!
