nRF52833 FCC IDs

Good morning,

To my knowledge, the nRF52833 dk as well as the reference designs are FCC certified.

I'm currently searching the FCC IDs for these designs but I'm not able to find them.

Can you help me about that ?

Thank you !

  • Hi Luigi,

A component like the nRF52833 cannot be FCC certified as a stand alone device as it cannot operate without a crystal, caps and other items that support the operation.  Testing must be done on a completed end product or a certified module.  (Laird, Raytec, Fanstel, etc).

With that said, we have taken a PCBA based on the nRF52833 reference design and have put it thru a 3rd party test house to be sure a completed product using our reference design will pass.  It does.

    I hope this helped

    Br,

  • Hi Luigi,

Is it possible that the nRF52833 reference design with the 3rd party test house measurement report and certificate can be shared as this is a good step for compliance purposes?

My Test House is asking further TCB certification or RF testing is included to simplify compliance if available.
