NCS1.9.1,  VSCode,  nRF52840,

those uart samples it's not nRF SDK so easy to use.

Is there a simple uart example?

like  nRF5_SDK_17.0.2_d674dde\examples\peripheral\uart\

I agree the selection of basic samples in Zephyr isn't that great, but new ones get added all the time.

I found a new UART driver sample that was added in Zephyr v.3.0.0. The latest NCS release used Zephyr v.2.7.99, so this sample isn't in this NCS release. I see it's been added to the main branch on github, so it will be included in the next NCS release.

I would also recommend having a look at Nordic's DevAcademy, there's a great UART tutorial there.
