How do I set the version number for my (mcuboot based) application image?

Hi, 

I am using ncs 1.5.2, and want to create a FOTA image. I am successfully able to build, flash and confirm the image, but am unable to set the version number of the image ( always shows up as 0.0.0+0.

I would appreciate some guidance in this regard ( the answer, a pointer to documentation, or pointer to a code sample).

Hi Manu, 
I assume you generated the signed image by compiling the project? 
If it's the case you can control the image version by using CONFIG_MCUBOOT_IMAGE_VERSION
