S310 SoftDevice - does this support BLE "central" role?

As per title - I presumed it supported "central" and "peripheral" roles, but now I think I might have been wrong?

The S310 SoftDevice is a combination the S210 ANT SoftDevice and the S110 SoftDevice (which supports peripheral role). The S310 SoftDevice does not support central role.
