Where to read manufacturer data?

I used the central example to scan for BLE devices.

I was able to see the Mac address and UUID in the advertising packet data buffer of 31 bytes. But I couldn't see the manufacturer data. Is it supposed to be in the same advertising packet? I display the whole 31-byte buffer and still don't see it.

I used nRF Connect and I can see all the info including the manufacturer data and UUID.

Where can I find the manufacturer data?

Hi,

The manufacturer specific data can be in the advertising packet and/or optionally in the scan response packet. Which SDK are you using? If for instance you are using the nRF5 SDK then you will get the full raw advertising or scan response packet with a BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT, including the manufacturer specific data (if present).
