nrf52840 Dongle not recognized by nRF Connect for Desktop on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to make the nRF 52840 Dongle work with nRF Connect for Desktop v3.11.0 on Ubunutu 20.04 LTS.

I downloaded the latest version from here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Connect-for-desktop/Get-Started?lang=en#infotabs

When I launch the AppImage, nRF Connect launches as expected. Launching the BLE tool also works, but when I want to select a device, the Dongle is not shown. However, the connected nRF52 DK is showing up (I can also program and flash the the nRF52 DK with Segger emStudio, so I guess the installed jlink software should work). When running 'lsusb' in the Linux terminal, the dongle shows up correctly. The dongle actually works with nRF Connect for Desktop on Windows 10.

Any idea what could be the issue and how to solve it?
