How to peform a west update with Zephyr/nRF Connect SDK/VSC

I'm trying to add the drivers, etc from here: https://github.com/circuitdojo/pcf85063a for the PCF85063a RTC, to my project.

Part of the process involves updating the west.yml file, and then doing a 

west update

Problem is, I'm doing all my development within Visual Studio Code, with Zephyr and the nRF Connect Extension, and there is no-where I can find where I can actually update west.

I'm a bit of a neewb, so if this seems like an obvious question, please go easy on me!

Hi Mike,

The toolchain manager can be used to access to the command line for west.

other repos could be added manually by editing file "west.yml" under folder "nrf".

before you run west update please "west manifest --validate" to check if your repo added correctly.

This is what I get when I open up a command prompt and run "west manifest -- validate"

Any ideas what I should be doing?

Hi Mike, It's a strange one, I get it working fine on my computer. 

Was the Command prompt opened from the Toolchain Manager?  could you try just enter command "west" and see if any errors.

I got it working in the end.  Uninstalled VSC/nRF Connect Extension, and nRF Connect SDK, then reinstalled them, and I was able to get the west update to work
