case about nRF9160 offline and reconnect

Hi,

1. How to prohibit nRF9160 from automatically re-registering to NB network after disconnection(This is to solve the problem of high power consumption when signal is poor)

2. Problem description: When nRF9160 is registered to NB network(+CIND: "service",1), nRF9160 is put into the shielded room (without NB signal) and disconnected from the base station (+CIND: "service",0). Wait for 3 minutes, then open the shielded room, and nRF9160 is re-registered to NB network (+CIND: "service",1).

    From my understanding, you are simulating this poor signal condition and expect the nRF9160 Modem could shut down itself?

    If this is your need, you can do this on your application logic. Keep monitoring signal quality, shut down/turn on the modem according to a threshold.
