How to flash / burn / build & run into SMD component nRF52832

Hi,

I'm new to this and I was just wondering, since I'm still learning and successfully coded my first app, I'm asking how can you flash / burn / build & run  SMD component Nordic Semicon NRF52832 (more accurate NRF52832 -QFA) ?

How does it work ? Do you use custom PCB boards, like www.alibaba.com/.../NRF52832-Chip-Burn-in-Block-Gold_60714521582.html ? If I want to have mass production what do I need for that, etc.

I know it sounds silly and my question isn't straightforward, but I'm wondering how it works in companies for example and how I could do it at home, if it's possible.

Created my PCB and bought NRF52-DK for testing.

I've always been interested in bluetooth technology.

Thanks for any comments even if it's just a link to some website.

    Hi George

    I assume the link to the PCB is your PCB design? For the nRF52832 we have some PCB design guidelines that should be followed, and a reference design that we recommend following, as the nRF52 requires some components, decoupling capacitors, external crystal oscillators, etc. to operate correctly.

    As for programming the device, all you should need is to put a 3V source on the VDD pins, ground the GND pins, and connect the custom board to the DK like shown in the image below. That should let the DK detect the external board and program that rather than the onboard SoC. This will only let you program one device at a time though, for mass production I would recommend one of the production tools from SEGGER. Although pricy, they are of good quality and are designed to program devices for production.
