Can't upload code to PCA10095 (nRF5340-DK) via Segger Embedded Studio

Hi,

I have started learning nRF5340 recently and have got the development kit as well.

I compiled first example of "peripheral_uart" but I am not able to program the board. It gives error while programming. You can see the errors i get in the images.

ALSO, is it possible that i can compile the hex file and upload it via J Flash Lite software to both cores at the same time?? Or via nRF Connect Programmer etc?

One more thing i want to add is that i am using nRF5340-PDK. Not the DK. And the nRF Connect Programmer does not detect my DK at all.

Any assistance on this matter will be appreciated.

Hi, 

I am using nRF Connect SDK version 1.9.1.

Let me install version 1.4.1 to see if that will work fine.

Also, is it possible to have both latest and older versions at the same time and in different directories? So that we can use the version which is needed.

Yes, you can have multiple installs. I roomed you install the nRF Connect SDK using the toolchain manager (See Installing automatically), which will place each version in a separate folder.

Please note that there is no point in developing for the PDK, as that is no longer in sale and the engineering A samples that are on it is no longer in production and was never in mass production nor intended for anything other than early evaluation.
