After I upgraded to SDK9.0. The old files still left in the project folder. I had this situation last time. What I did was recreated the project. But is there a better way to fix this?

After the upgrade when you select the "Manage Run-Time environment"
and de-select the old version of the files which are non existent. Atleast this way you do not have to re-create the project.
Thanks Aryan, but I wasn't providing correct information. it was after I changed device from xxAA to xxAC. I checked the project folder xxAA and xxAC both exist.
OK, I figured it out. I have multiple targets, but I forgot to change the device for one of them. :-) All good now.
