Hi Nordic Support,
I have been waiting for many years to see our end-user devices (Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux) such as smartphones, tablets, and computers to support IPSP and 6lowpan protocol.
I want to run a lightweight webserver on an nRF5340 chip using IPSP BLE service and connect to a user device and render a web browser GUI completely from the MCU. This will avoid having a specific BLE APP designed for various platforms, and put them on the google and apple store and keep maintaining them. It gets worse when you have multiple products and each has dedicated APPs and maintaining them is a true pain.
Please let me know if you have come across anything to address this issue. I'm interested if there is a generic app that provides IPSP, and 6lowpan support, and interacts with MCU via webbrowser for a given OS.
Or in other words, please let me know if we have an update on this topic.
Does Android, iOS, or windows supports IPSP in 2022?
Thank you!
