CMSIS DSP version in SDK

Dear All,

I use nRF52 SDK 17.1 for a bunch of projects with nRF52840. CMSIS DSP Library v1.6.0 (18. March 2019) is included in that SDK. I see that in the meantime there is a CMSIS DSP Library version 1.10.0 (see https://arm-software.github.io/CMSIS_5/DSP/html/index.html). How can I get the binaries for that newer version? And can I use them in my projects?

Hi,

The CMSIS DSP libraries are provided by ARM, not by Nordic. They are usually available in the release section in this GitHub: https://github.com/ARM-software/CMSIS_5, however, I could not find the lib directory in the latest release. You may build it from source, use the sources directly, or ask in the ARM community where you can get the libs.

Dear All,

I joined the ARM community as suggested by Jørgen. Unfortunately, the folks there does not seem to be as quick as here. So at the end I answered my own question.
