How to solve the error "ended prematurely" when installing nRF51 SDK

I downloaded the nRF51SDK and followed the Quick Start guide in the Evaluation Kit Userguide (KEIL, Segger, etc)

But when I install nRF51 SDK v4.3, the installation failed and I got this error message:

nRF51 SDK Setup Wizard ended permaturely

as shown in the picture

I am using Window XP SP3.

Please help !!

Hello,

I got a very similar issue.

I was told to install .NET framework 3.5 . And it fixed the issue. It seems .NET framework 3.5 is required for the SDK installation on XP machine.

Nordic Semi - could you please fix this by bundling .NET framework, or detecting its absence? It's annoying to have to search the forums to solve this issue.
