Im building a wireless sensor network for farming applications and the issue I face is that when I supply the nrf52840dk from the external supply pins (P21) I get like 25μA mean current consumption. If I supply the board from the lipo connector with a battery, with the same extact firmware the current consumption is way higher, it jumps to 1.8mA. Is there anything on board that draws this power when I connect the battery? Im thinking that the regulators used to regulate the battery voltage draw this kind of extra power.
