GPIO State during programming

What is the state of the GPIO pins during programming.

Because of space restraints, in order to get the the programming signals out from under the laird module we are using.

I have to run the SWDIO and SWCLK signals over pads for unused GPIO pins. Those GPIO pins are never used in our design.

Will those pins be in TRI State or as input so they do not interfere during programming and debugging.

Hi Jay,

The GPIO pin will have high impedence, with reset state disabled and no pull resistors when they are not used, whether during the programming or not. So it should be fine to route on a different layer, over the GPIO pads as long as they are not used in the design.
