Can nrf52840DK use for nrf5340 programming using SWD lines of debug Port ?

Hi,

I have nrf52840 development board. I use the debug out port for programming my external nrf52840 chips.

Now my external chip is nrf5340 which i need to program. Since SWD interface is the same i connected the debug port to external SWD interface of nrf5340.

Chip gets detected over nrf connect app. But when writing .hex files it gives error.

Hi Sudhir,

What version of the nRF Connect SDK are you using? And are you using the programmer app? If so, which version? Could you share any error messages that appear when you try to flash the hex file?

I am trying to do the same thing but I'm using nrf52840dk debug out to program thingy53 as my target device. Was wondering if this is possible. I am using nrf connect sdk v2.1.0, the programmer app v3.0.4

I am trying to flash dfu_application.zip can't click on 'write' as it is grayed out.
