nrf21540 nrf5 sdk

Hi All!

I am using nrf21540 along with nrf52833/20. My question is can it be possible to use nrf5 SDK instead of NCS? I have developed the application using nrf5 SDK and it's very difficult for me to switch to NCS. I need only to amplify the power at Tx and Rx (sensitivity increase ).

Can you please help me in this regard that how to use nrf21540 available driver in nrf5 v17.1.0 and the radio test example?

Hi

No, we do not have any intentions to make nRF5 SDK project for the nRF21540 I'm afraid. It will only be supported in the nRF Connect SDK, so you'll be on your own if you want to try and add it to the nRF5 SDK. Technically it should be possible, but we won't provide support for that, sorry.

Hi

Both the Radio test and Direct Test Mode samples have support added for the nRF21540. Perhaps the radio test sample is the best choice for your use case. You can also check out the FEM user guide for more information on how to add FEMs and the nRF21540 to any project.
