Have 5V PIN with Power supply Coin-cell battery

Hello everyone,

I am working with the nrf52 DK.

I want to know if is possible to have the 5V pin when powering the DK with the Coin cell battery?

If not, how can I power the DK with the micro USB without connect it to a computer? (I want to be able to move the DK and it power source around)

Hi, the nRF52832 DK does not have a boost converter, so the 5V is coming from the USB only. If the USB is removed you will only have the 3V from the coin cell left. You will need 5V from the USB to get 5V on the 5V pin, so if you are not connecting the USB to the computer, you will still need to have a 5V power supply connected to the USB cable.
