nRF52840-DK as a nRF8340 programmer/debugger

Hi,

I have a nRF52840-DK which comes with an on-board SEGGER J-Link debugger/programmer to use with the internal microcontroller or an external one.

Also, I bought a Fanstel BC40C (EVM-BC40-V0) development kit based on a nRF8340. The Fanstel kit requires an external programmer/debugger so it has a debug-in connector.

Is it possible to use the nRF52840-DK to program/debug the nRF8340?

Hi Pablo,

nRF5240-DK cannot be used to program any board based on nRF5340.. You will either need to use the nRF5340DK or the nRF9160DK or a dedicated programmer to do this..
