Hello Team,
We are in process of designing our product with nRF52833. To secure our product and possible Firmware readouts, we are planning to use the APPROTECT feature. So, this should prevent anyone with physical access of the device to read the Flash content and clone the Firmware. However, we have following concerns:
1. While going through details we came across IN-133 (https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/in_133_v1.0.pdf?cp=4_1_2_5) which says this feature is vulnerable. Also, IN-149 (https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/in_149_v1.1.pdf?cp=4_1_2_2) sugegsts that rev2 of nRF52833 is secured against this vulnerability. Could you please confirm if we use rev2 of nRF52833, we are secured with this vulnerability?
2. Is there any other such vulnerability that affects nRF52833?
3. Is there anything else that we can do apart from APPROTECT to prevent someone cloning our Firmware?
