AWS_IOT aws_iot_connect, error: -119

Hi,

I have an nRF9160 and working am off of the AWS_IOT sample code. When I start the device, the error messages occur 2-3 times and then the device connects successfully with the message "AWS_IOT_EVT_CONNECTED".

Error messages:

connection_poll_start failed, error: -119

aws_iot_connect, error: -119

What does error -119 mean?

Why does this occur a few times before a successful connection event happens?

I'm using NCS v1.9.1 and mfw 1.3.1

Thanks for your answer below, it looks like this error started happening when I changed the next scheduled time for the next connect_work_fn() call from 30 seconds to 5 seconds. It stops happening when I change it back to 30 seconds.

Is there a minimum time required between aws_iot_connect() calls?

Not that I'm aware of. I assume it depends on the time it takes for the TLS connection to complete.
