Do you get any time?

I am little confused how to start rtc in it.
as I worked on external rtc ds1307 where minute, hour and seconds can be easily read
there is no required example there in sdk5 regarding this
Hi Azzy,

do you mean:
"There is no required examle there in sdk5 regarding the external rtc ds1307"
or
"There is no required examle there in sdk5 regarding where minute, hour and seconds can be easily read "
?

how to initialize rtc ?
How to read
HOUR,MIN,SEC,DAY,MONTH,YEAR,DATE CHARACTER FROM RTC
how to initialize rtc ?
How to read

Hi Azzy,
In that case, see Edvin's answer in RE: how to set target time for specific days

Hi AZZY,
I think you are confusing Real time COUNTER with Real time CLOCK.
The nrf52840 has REAL TIME COUNTER. where as ds1307 is a real time clock module.
Any time keeping electronic device resets to zero when powered off.
If I remember correctly the ds1307 is also powered by a coin cell which keeps it ticking even though the main MCU is turned off. If you want implement the same you should run the device without powering off.
Hope it helps.
yes you are right sir........
But i am unable to read HOUR SEC AND MINUTE in nrf........
nrf RTC libraries doesn't provide any hour, minutes info. As I said it is a real time counter it can only give the number of clock ticks passed by from the point it started. you have to calculate hour minutes sec. etc. from that clock ticks value in your code.
ok sir Thanks
i will work on it...........
