Zigbee 4.2 - Not binding

Hello,

we have a set of router devices already on the market: each of them was developed using 4.0 stack.

now we're aligning the stack to the 4.2 version observing a very strange behaviour: the devices don't send any bind at startup so they are not able 

to perform any binding with coordinator.

It seems they are always sleeping despite they are configured as ruoter (anf not End Device).

Have you any suggestion about how to investigate deeply this kind of problem or, even better, you have the answer to this issue?

Hi Alessio,

The devices should not be able to sleep if they are router devices. Are you certain that the role has not been changed to end device after updating?

How did you send the bind request previously, and have you made any changes to this part?

It would be helpful if you could get a sniffer log of the devices joining the network. Please upload the sniffer here as a pcap file. Make sure to start the sniffer before the coordinator starts the network so the sniffer has the network key, or share the network key here so I can decrypt the packets.
