Hello,
I am currently trying to flash a nRF51422 chip that will be placed on a custom PCB board using the pin20 on the nRF51 DK board. I had connected the chips pins as follows:
1) Pin 1 and 12 VDD are connected to the VDD and VTG of the DK.
2) pin 13 VSS is connected to a GND and GND Detect of the DK.
3) pin 23 SWDIO is connected to the SWDIO of the DK.
4) pin 24 SWDCLK is connected to the SWDCLK of the DK.
As mentioned in the title, while I can find the chip as being listed as a JLink device, the Unsupported Device error occurs. Looking through the existing responses on this subject none of the possible resoultions seem to work. The only potential issue I may see is I am trying to do the flash by connecting the pins with soldered copper wires. Does the chip need to be on a board with the antenna and crystal? I am assuming that should not be the case.
