UART upgrade firmware.

Hello,

I use SDK16 and softdevice S140. I want to use UART to upgrade firmware. Do you have sample code for SDK16? Do I need to install python and nrfutil on my computer? If yes, are there linux versions for python and nrfutil? Or need other tools?

Hi Ted, 

Yes it's supported in SDK 16. 
You can find the example in \examples\dfu\secure_bootloader\pca10056_uart
See the documentation here: infocenter.nordicsemi.com/.../sdk_app_serial_dfu_bootloader.html

You will need to install python and nrfutil on your computer. 
I'm not very familiar with Linux but as far as I know nrfutil should work fine on Linux.
