nrf9160-DK not connecting to NB-IoT network

Hello,

I am not able to connect the nrf9160 with NB-IoT to the nRF Cloud using the asset_tracker_v2 or the multicell_location sample. I added the following configuration to prj.conf: 

CONFIG_LTE_NETWORK_MODE_NBIOT=y

 

However, it works with the nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_v2_nbiot_legacy_pco_2022-06-02_880c82db.hex file (from the firmware folder under img_app_bl). So maybe I need to enable legacy PCO in my application. If so, how do I do that?

I am using modem firmware 1.3.2 and the iBasis SIM.

I have tried the suggestions from this ticket:  nrf9160 fails to connect to NB-IoT 

Sending AT%XEPCO=0 and AT%XSYSTEMMODE=0,1,0,0 works well, but only for at_client.

I would like to enable PCO in the prj.conf file. But apparently the option CONFIG_LTE_LEGACY_PCO_MODE=y in lte_link_control does not exist anymore?

not an expert in this, but looking at the threads that already exists shows that you most likely need to enable CONFIG_PDN_LEGACY_PCO.
