Hi,

How to configure the following two CONFIG to connect the nRF9160 module to the nRF Cloud

CONFIG_NRF_CLOUD_CLIENT_ID_SRC_COMPILE_TIME
CONFIG_NRF_CLOUD_CLIENT_ID

The measured as follows

1. I set the following options to configure an nRF9160 module (not DK) to connect to the nRF Cloud

2. Configure mode 1 to connect to the nRF Cloud

CONFIG_NRF_CLOUD_CLIENT_ID_SRC_IMEI=y
CONFIG_NRF_CLOUD_CLIENT_ID_PREFIX="user-"

3. The nRF Cloud cannot be connected in configuration mode 2

CONFIG_NRF_CLOUD_CLIENT_ID_SRC_COMPILE_TIME=y

Hello Peter.Min,

Sorry about the delay. I asked about this internally, which provided me with some options for you.

You can take a look at the PDN library to configure legacy PCO (Protocol Configuration Options). The AT command %XPCO can also be used to subscribe to PCO notifications and %XEPCO=0 to select PCO to be used.

Additionally, providing us with a modem trace will be helpful for us to figure out what fails with the connection to nRF Cloud.
