Which is better among rpmsg and rpc to access BLE running in the network core on nRF5340?

I'm using an nRF5340 DK board with ncs v2.0.0. I have to build an application that should access BLE running in the network core. I see there are two options provided, Remote Protocol messages and Remote Procotol calls. 

1) What is the difference between them?

2) In what cases one is preferred over another?

3) What is nordic's recommended way to access BLE in net core among the two?

Hello,

To run BLE on the nRF5340, you can chose between these 2 options:

• Split the Bluetooth LE Controller and the host part of the Bluetooth LE stack and run them on different cores.

• Run the full Bluetooth LE stack on the network core (currently supported for development only).

1) Please have a look at this section of the SDK documentation here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/2.0.2/nrf/ug_nrf5340.html#protocols-and-use-cases. It explains the difference between the 2 architecture options listed above. 

2) 3) The split architecture is fully supported and has the most test coverage, so it is generally the preferred option.  Running everything on the netcore may be preferred when you need to 1. offload more work to the netcore 2 separate stack code from main app code 3. free up more memory to the appcore.
